‘The Man Who Wasn’t Here’ goes on screen at the US filmfest’s competition section.

Iranian short film ‘The Man Who Wasn’t Here’ has been scheduled to go on screen at the competition section of the 2nd edition of Sacramento Underground Film & Art Festival.

Directed by Ata Mojabi, the short film is to compete with 9 other films from around the world.

The film is unique in form and style. It took two years for the producer to accomplish it. It was made by remixing and re-framing some of the most important films of the cinema history. The Man Who Wasn't Here is about revenge, intolerance, forgiveness, and cinema.

The short film has so far participated in different Film festivals including the 16th edition of MIAMI Short Film Festival, the 9th edition of Interrobang Film Festivals, and the 1st edition of Hub Film Festival.

Founded in 2015, Sacramento Underground Film & Art Festival is a large, multi-day, all-genre international film festival held in Sacramento, California in the United States. The festival's mission is to celebrate filmmaking from around the world and sponsor the art of film in California's Capital region.

The 2nd edition of Sacramento Underground Film & Art Festival is slated for December 1-4, 2017. It is currently underway.
